Salatul layl

Good Morning brothers & sisters! :DDD

I am really excited to share this with all of you. lol! As a newbie and the purpose of why I created this blog is to share my journey as a newbie, being "re-introduced" back to Islam :) There is this one quote that totally inspired me to be better:

" Being born in a muslim family does not make you a muslim, being born with a muslim name does not make you a muslim. Being a muslim means complete submission to Allah, surrendering every little bit of you "

I think it makes soOoO much sense :) don't you think?

Anyhoot! After my Fajr prayer, I thought to myself...What else can I do to increase my good deeds? what else can I do to get closer to Allah?

.......I'm not sure how it came to mind, I am really trying my best to recall how I came about but for some reason I just can't. lol forgive me, I have a gold fish memory :p

Kay, What came to mind was...Tahajjud most commonly known as Night Prayer. Some of you know and might have performed this yourself, Alhamdulillah :) I've heard of it but I never really bothered. so I decided to search on it more (googling of course! :p) Salatul layl came out.

Salatul Layl begins after midnight until the time for Fajr (morning) prayers. The best time for it is as close to the Fajr prayer as possible.

Salatul Layl consists of a total of 11 raka’ats, divided into the following prayers:

1. Nafilah of Layl: 8 raka’ats (4 x 2 raka’ats)

2. Salât al-Shaf’a: 2 raka’ats

3. Salat al-Witr: 1 raka’at

When the servant of Allah turns to his Lord in the middle of the dark night, and whispers to Him, Allah establishes His light in his heart . . . then He tells the angels:

"O my angels, look at my servant. He has turned to Me in the middle of the dark night while the false ones are playing, and the heedless ones are sleeping; bear witness that I have forgiven him."

"Whoever has been granted the chance to recite Salatul Layl, a male servant or a female one, and he(or she) rises for Allah sincerely, does proper wudhu , prays salaat for Allah with a true intention, a sound heart, a humble body and a tearful eye, Allah will place behind him nine rows of angels. The number of angels in each row cannot be counted except by Allah. One side of each row is in the East, and the other is in the West. Then when he completes his prayer, he gets the reward of all of the angels in the rows.
"

-Mashallah, Isn't that just great? :') Allah is indeed great-

Besides everyone is always looking for way to make up early, then maybe Salatul Layl can be your reason :)

24 more reasons:

Imam Jaffar Sadiq (a.s.) quotes Imam Ali (as) as saying that the Prophet (saww) said that a person who prays Salatul-Layl gets the following twenty four kinds of benefits:

  1. Secures Allah’s pleasure.
  2. Makes friendship with Angels.
  3. Is the Sunnat of the Prophets (a.s.)
  4. Provides the means to pursue knowledge.
  5. Constitutes the root of our faith.
  6. Keeps one physically fit.
  7. Drives Shaytan away.
  8. Protects one from enemies.
  9. Serves as a means of acceptance of one’s Duas and good deeds.
  10. Increases one’s livelihood.
  11. Intercedes with the Angel of Death.
  12. Lights up the grave.
  13. Provides comfortable bedding in the grave.
  14. Helps answering with ease the questioning of Munkar and Nakir in the grave.
  15. Gives companionship in the grave.
  16. Provides shelter on the Day of Judgment.
  17. Crowns one on the Day of Reckoning.
  18. Clothes one on the Day of Resurrection.
  19. Provides one with light on the Day of Judgment.
  20. Forms a barrier against the fire of Hell.
  21. Gets Allah’s pardon on the Day of Judgment.
  22. Increases the weight of good deeds on the scale.
  23. Helps one crossing the Bridge of “Siraat” without any difficulty.
  24. Forms the key to the Paradise.

............Let me know what you think on my Formspring :)

It's a big deal

Assalamualaikum brothers & sisters!

I know I've said that I'll be away for awhile but I have a little time on my hands, so why not? =]

This past few days I've come to realised that I am not being the best muslimah that I could be and what scares me is that I have no intention of improving myself, Astaghfirullah wa atoobu Ilaik :/ until I watched this video fo the quality of Salah (solat/prayers/sembahyang) though the quality of the video is really bad, I didn't managed to watch it until the end but what I've got from that video is that (and one of the biggest fact that I've forgotten!) how big of a deal salah is - a huge deal that we'll be questioned by our creator about this. yes sure, a majority of us may pray 5 times a day but it's not all about the quantity (I'm not saying it's not important but there is another factor that is equally important) ...it's also the quality of our prayers! - remember: while we are in salah, we're speaking to Allah directly.

I am guilty of this, sometimes I'm not kusyuk in my salah :( I think about other stuff while I'm in salah which is very very bad. So now, I am trying to find ways to improve my Salah. So brothers & sisters please keep me in your doas, pray for me that I will be able to stay kusyuk in all of my daily prayers! Amin.

oh btw, if you're wondering what the picture have to do with this post...well nothing, I just thought it's a cute picture :p lol

It's neither

It's not about you, It's not about me either..........

Will be gone for awhile turns out I have tons of things to do 0_o
and I shall not blame anyone but myself for wasting
precious time. Now, I shall catch up with everything I have missed
which is.......a lot!

So brothers & Sisters pray for me, I need lots & lots of
doas :-)

Much Love,
Little Miss Hijab

A little bit of something

Assalamualaikum brothers and sisters! :)

Before I start I got the image above from igotitcovered, I thought it's beautiful so I would just like to share it with all of you :)

I know I've been gone for quite awhile...again another beautiful sunday. My room lighting is not working properly but hey atleast one of the lights is still working, so alhamdulillah :)

Watching lectures on youtube or The Deen Show is becoming one of my daily routines....I would like to share with all of you the 2 videos that truly moved me. One was from Yusuf Estes discussing about the unforgivable sins in Islam and of course we all know that is syirik , I've learned so much though I need to watch the lecture again. lol and the second one is Ego and Islam by Nouman Ali Khan rated 5/5!

I will post the videos at the end of this post for those who are interested in watching :) ....

So speaking of Nouman Ali Khan....He's the CEO of Bayyinah Intitute. Ok, as a Malay girl. Naturally arabic is not my mother tongue. You know why I'm saying this?

This thought came into mind everytime I read the Quran, I don't understand what Allah is telling me cause I don't understand Arabic...I don't speak the language :( and I said to myself 'hey I can just read the translation' but the thing is.....I don't want to read someone's translation ( I know this sounds bad but let be plead my case first :p) it's not like they did a bad translation of it, they did a great job, Jazakallahukhairan :) but the Al-Quran is a miracle itself and the fact that I cant understand it by myself its just sad...Why? Reading the translation is like cakap ajuk and cakap pindah. lol :P

What I'm trying to say is that reading the tafsirs is someone's translation of the quran...not our translation. We can't feel the miracle of the Al-Quran firsthand...Subahanallah imagine if we were to understand it directly...understand every single word of Allah firsthand. Subahanallah wouldnt that be remarkable? Just reading the tafsir is good enough of course,we get the general idea what Allah is telling us but we cant feel the miracle. so back to my point....Bayyinah institute is offering a 10 months course, the dream course which I think is an amazing programme. check out their website at bayyinah.com.

so yes what I'm trying to say is that I would love to learn arabic and understand the Al-Quran and feel its miracle and yes the idea of joining the dream course did come to mind. Hopefully I would be able to, Inshallah :)

Oh another suprising thing happened yesterday....This girl inbox-ed me on Facebook and asked me whether I wanted to be her model for her "The beauty of Hijab" photoshoot. lol it felt good not because she picked me to be her model but she sees me as a hijabi (awww :p) which honestly did moved me alittle :p

As promised here are the vids!

Let me know what you think on my Formspring!!!

My 2 cents

Assalamualaikum Brothers & sisters!

Today of all days my brother decided to pick me up from work and we went cruising around and oh my excuse me for being too blunt but...it was really hurting my eyes :(

What is, you ask....

Well, the sight of women displaying their beauty. yes their beauty...their hair, arms, legs and thighs...AGAIN sorry for being too blunt but don't these women have any respect for themselves? Ok, i used to not know this but did you know the aurat between females is between the navel & the knee? and these girls were basically proud of showing them, which is truly truly sad :( is our beauty THAT cheap for everyone to see? or is it "expensive" that only "exclusive" people can see? sorry for the lack of vocabulary and grammar, I am aware of it :P as long as you can understand why I'm trying to say then it's enough LOL

Ok so there's so many things running through my mind right now and it's so hard for me to construct proper sentences for you guys. lets see if I can put my thoughts into words:

First question in my mind is...

why do women dress like this?
  • For the sake of fashion
  • Attention
  • Confidence
Fashion? ohh yeaa~ the floral puff sleeves, skinny jeans, high waisted skirts & bla bla bla.We spend so much money on them, buying clothes that are "in", shoes that hurts your feet, hair products that makes our hair smells disgusting....................why do we have to spend so much on it?

Why do we have to look like Kate Moss? or Megan Fox or whoever. Allah gave us what they've got...do we not have eyes? do we not have legs? All these magazines telling you how she wears her makeup, where to buy her dress, how to look like this or how to look like that, her daily exercise routine, what she eats...........

you being unhappy with your physical being, is like saying you're not happy with what Allah gave you. I guess you can say some of us are blessed with perfect figure but my question is why do you have to flaunt it? why do you have to show it to everybody. We are not fashion's slaves...we are Allah's slaves.

I believe that fashion leads to attention. Having everyone praising you feels good, right? how the dress is so pretty on you, how the skinny jeans fit on you perfectly, how it makes you look tall.....and it goes on.

First question: Would you rather be praised because how precise you read Quran or would you rather be praised on how fashionable you are?

Second question: Whose opinion matters more...Allah's or friends/boyfriends/girlfriends/"fashion police"?

Why do we need all the unwanted attention? those whistles? those up and down stares?

...............to feed our ego, to reassure ourselves that we're pretty. but guess what? Allah made us all beautiful in our own ways =]

and what comes after attention? mmhmm that's right...c.o.n.f.i.d.e.n.c.e~
confidence is good for the ego *sarcasm* That little black dress that hung perfectly on you, that makes you feel more "confident"....and the list goes on and on.

-Sometimes we just have to let go of our desires...desire to dress like we want to, see what we want to, do what we want to but y'know it's not about us...it's about serving to the Al-Baseer, Al-khabeer,Al-hakeem..the creator of you & I-

I, myself have a lot of work to do. It is not for me to judge, not at all...the purpose of this post is to wake you up. What makes you think you're gonna live another day? What if you die in a state that is displeasing to Allah? and we all know where we go when that happens................and I sincerely do not want that for you.

One day, We are all going to be judged by our actions & deeds. So ask yourself....are you obeying what is Allah is telling you to do?

Schoo-larZz

Assalamualaikum & Good Afternoon!

What a beautiful Sunday :) as I promised yesterday...I will list down my top 6 scholars but I just found out I only have a top 5. lol I'm not saying the other scholars are not good, these are the scholars that I normally listen to, maybe I should just change the topic to: Scholars lectures I listen to, eyh? maybe you guys can recommend me one? or two?...or three new scholars :P ok, lets get moving!

#5th spot: Sheikh Feiz Muhammad
#4th spot: Tawfique Chowdhury
#3rd spot: Navaid Aziz
#2nd spot: Yasir Qadhi
#1st spot: Nouman Ali Khan

Some of you might know the scholars already and probably have listened to most of their lectures and I guess I do not need to tell you how amazing their lectures are! :D but for those who have not than I suggest you should youtube them :)

here's some suggestions:

One of my favourites from Sheikh Feiz, a lecture about death, yes death. Sometimes we do need to be reminded that there is nothing permanent in this world, everything does not belong to us, it belongs to our creator, Allah SWT. We do get side tracked in this world and this is one way to remind myself: nothing is permanent and one day we will return everything to the creator of the heaven and the earth.

love this lecture? then this would be perfect for you :)

Tawfique Chowdhury has his own section in The Deen Show about the hereafter/judgment day/akhirah and mashallah the series is such an eye opener!

Judgement day signs - I can't post the video, it is not from Youtube :(

p/s: I would like to know what you think of the series!

Next, Navaid Aziz! I posted my favourite lecture here before. no worries, I'll post it again :D

I GIVE THIS A 10/10, 2 THUMBS UP, 5 STARS!!!!

Jazakallah for this video, I cried so hard watching this! what I've learned from this is that Allah is always there for us, always ready to forgive us when we repent (sincerely asking for forgiveness) Allah will not burden us beyond our scope! Allah is never unfair. NEVER!

- NEVER LOSE HOPE IN ALLAH -

Taubah is obligatory it is not an option for every Muslim

"One of the biggest sins that we can do is to give up hope of Allah's forgiveness. To claim that, "Allah cannot forgive me," is a bigger sin than any other sin that you have done. "I am too sinful, there is no point in repenting, Allah cannot forgive me, I am too sinful." This very claim of yours is a bigger sin than anything else you might have done as a Muslim. O Muslim, no matter how sinful you are...do you think that you alone single handedly have commited so many sins that you can emcompass Allah's mercy, that Allah's mercy cannot forgive you, that you can challenge the Rahmaan and the Raheem? WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT ARE YOUR SINS IN COMPARISON TO THE MERCY OF ALLAH ?! That arrogance is a greater crime and greater sin than any other sin you might have done. And that is why the Prophet (saws) said that the biggest of all sins is Shirk (polytheism) and to give up hope of Allah's mercy and to say that Allah cannot forgive me.

To claim that Allah cannot forgive you, you're limiting the mercy of Allah, you're limiting the forgiveness of Allah. And you are claiming single handedly that you and your sins are more powerful than Allah and His mercy!" - Yasir Qadhi

ALLAH DOES NOT COUNT THE NUMBER OF TIMES YOU REPENT, ALLAH LOOKS AT THE QUALITY OF THE TAUBAH NOT THE QUANTITY

My favourite lecture from Yasir Qadhi :) it touches your heart, does it not? :)))

I particularly love this lecture from Nouman Ali Khan, to be honest I am loving most of his lectures!!!

I will not spoil this lecture for you :P curious? go watch..the title itself is intriguing enough, no?

Let me know what you think of all the lectures I posted =]

My Spiritual fix!

Assalamualaikum brothers & sisters!

Remember when I told you guys about myspiritualfix.com by Navaid Aziz? :D part of the 'course' is that they will send an email everyday, uplifting ones! here's what I received 2 days ago :)

Assalam 'alaikum wa rahamatullah

I was thinking to myself that I would really like to supplement the videos that I'm making with some nice written content so you can continuously benefit on this spiritual journey, insha Allah!

Two of the biggest diseases of the heart are miserliness and excessive love of this world. Interestingly enough they both of have common cure: Shukr to Allah.

Shukr is not only just to thank and praise Allah for His blessings upon you, this is only the first step, but Shukr is to utilize that which Allah blessed you with to get closer to Him (i.e. use it for His sake).

Example: Allah has blessed you with money. You say al hamdulillah for being blessed with it and then you give some sadaqah (charity) so that others may feel the same blessings as you and thank Allah as well, and this further pleases Allah and increases your reward. Every blessing can have a similar cycle, you just have to take the time to be creative and contemplate it.

I'd like to conclude with a famous statement attributed to Imam Al-Shafi' (rh): "To be able to thank Allah for a blessing is a blessing with in of itself."

My question to you is: What are you thankful for today?

Come share your answer on the facebook page.

May Allah purify and rectify our hearts. Ameen!
Was salam 'alaikum wa rahmatullah
-Navaid Aziz

so brothers & sisters I do encourage you all to join! :D for now that is all, Ishallah tomorrow I will post my top 6 scholars! who knows, maybe we even like the same scholars..... :D

Why Hijab?

Assalamualaikum Brothers & Sisters!

Today I just feel I like talking about wearing the Hijab. I know this can be a tough experience for some of you but don't worry, just pray to Allah to make it easy for you and Inshallah it will be :) It's been almost 2 months since I've been wearing the hijab and I love it soo soooo much! I just want to share with all you sisters my experience and to let you guys know YOU ARE NOT ALONE! there are a lot of sisters out there struggling to wear the hijab! don't be scared to wear them, it only makes you MORE beautiful! who cares what other people thinks, you do this to please your lord, that's the only opinion that matters! those other opinions are invalid. we must understand, it is an order from our creator, Allah...and we are only his creations, his servants..who are we to disobey him?

It was a so-so experience for me, I admit I was scared at first but mashallah..it's so liberating. lol yea I do get a lot of questions about why I started wearing the hijab but everyone was supportive of my decision in the end, Alhamdulillah :) the mocking and the teasing will go away sooner or later...besides wearing the hijab is beautiful to the eyes of the beholder, doesn't that make you feel good? :D - ok I know the way I write is sooo newbie-ish LOL :p I just want to let you sisters know that if you want to change, I am here for you....so take that crucial step, that one very important step, why are you scared of this piece of cloth? the piece of cloth that makes you beautiful and hinders you from the unwanted attentions!! here's a video i want you sisters to watch, trust me it's really really good!

so I hope all you sisters out there will start wearing your Hijab. don't be a part time hijabi..be a full time hijabi :D remember shaytan loves when you disobey Allah, now we can't let him win can we? :) Pray to Allah to make this easy for you!

Also here's another video I want to share.....

btw the video ain't scary :p
so dont' delay....be a full time hijabi :)

My top 5 webbies!

Assalamualaikum

So brothers and sisters what shall we talk about today? hmm hmm hmm I know! how about My top 5 Websites? :D ok fine i came up with the idea this morning at work and listed down my top 5 webbies already :p LOL. Just so you know, I LOVE all the webbies! so it's kinda hard to number them, personally I think they all deserve the #1 spot :) Lets start, shall we?

Igotitcovered.org

Why I love it?

It is full of interesting and inspiring stories about wearing the Hijab, sisters from all over the world telling their stories, their journeys about being a Hijabi or a Niqabi (sisters who covered parts of their face) how they struggle or how much they love wearing or hated wearing it, wearing Hijab is not just about covering our hair its more than that! don't get what i mean? check it out yourself :) another reason why I love it is because these are REAL journeys, REAL feelings, REAL stories...it's not something that is made up and the fact that it's real, it's easy for us sisters to relate! here is one of the article that i truly truly love: A reflection on beauty

islam-qa.com

Why I love it?

Well Islam QA is a fatwa website. I see a few people from other religious websites recommending this :) basically where people asks questions and they would answer it, most of my questions that I had when I first "re-introduced" back to Islam is answered in Islam QA. It's very very useful, especially for those you have SO many questions about islam, it is HIGHLY recommended!

Why I love it?

ok, the deen show hands down is better than Oprah! LOL why? simple...he talks about Islam :) but not in the boring way! he has scholars coming in like Yasir Qadhi, Navaid Aziz, Dr. Zakir Naik, Nouman Ali Khan and rappers like napoleon from the outlawz, Loon & Abu Taubah. Mashallah! I am addicted to the deen show! he talks about all the relevant stuff! (duh) in a way we young people can understand~ trust me it's not boring AT ALL! i love this one particular series where he talks about death & the hereafter, definitely an eye opener!

If you love the deen show too, the i suggest you to watch this :)

alrighty! lets move on to the next one!

Why oh why?

BECAUSE....they are just simply amazing to read! so upbeat, witty, funny and encouraging. No joke! for this one is for the sisters :) they talk about.....what girls talk about :p what we sisters normally go through and the give a-m-a-z-i-n-g advice. Hijab, relationships, solat...everything! my favourite one is this :D to be honest this post made me cry :'( it was so moving.

"You see! These hardships are placed for us to raise our ranks, erase our sins, and test the strength of our faith. These hardships are placed to purify us and bring us closer to Allah. Our hardships are our tickets to paradise"

btw, I've emailed the aunties before and they replied :) so sisters if you have no one to turn to...have no fear you can ask the aunties!

Last but not least...

W-H-Y?

This is a website i recently found, it was recommended my by the aunties above, jazakallah.

I know most of us can't relate to her....she's a mother of 2, her son khalid is diagnosed with autism. so you ask "then why do you like reading website?" what i love about her website is the way she writes...its uplifting. she has so much courage, she's witty and so so much fun to read though she was just talking about her life and how grateful she was to our creator Allah, despite her son was diagnosed with autism, wow...i mean w-o-w! the fact that she was still able to find peace. mashallah, how beautiful is that? :')

my favourite piece from her: A judgement about judgements

"So go on, hug a scary-looking religious person today! They’re not judging you, and even if they might have been, you were judging them first. So there. :p"

you see what I mean?

so that's all i have got for you today, brothers & sisters :) i hope you have enjoyed my selections! let me know if one of em' becomes your favourite too! :D

Shykh Navaid Aziz

one of the best lectures I've heard!! I just have to share this with all of you! (btw I googled the instructions :P)

Frustration & Hardship

Assalamualaikum,

There are times when things get a little frustrating ok fine REALLY frustrating but have no fear Allah is always by our side :) some people face hardship everyday, some face it once in a while regardless of how many times they face this....what i'm talking about here now is struggling with ourselves; trying not to surrender to our ego & desires, constantly boosting our imaan. there are days when our imaan are high, there are days when our imaan are low. there are times we wonder why our du'a is not answered, there are times you feel doubtful and confuse, there are times when you feel lonely, there are times you feel you're displeasing Allah and you feel as if you have hit rock bottom but despite all this true believers are content with themselves, that's the beauty of Islam. Islam is a way of life..the true way of life, one way or another we return to Allah, we make du'as...we asked for guidance, protection, strength & patience, well that's what i normally ask for.

During the time of hardship is when you need to hang on to your imaan tightly, never lose hope in Allah. Allah is the All-knowing, Allah listens to our prayers. if we keep knocking on Allah's door one day we will be let in :) so have patience, pray to Allah to make this worldly life easy for you. trust Allah, if you give up something for Allah, Allah will give you something better. Always remember that. :)

I might not know everything about Islam, but I am trying, I fail at times...but we just gotta keep walking and return to Allah, our creator. May Allah guide as all to the right path and save us from hell fire. Amin.

Lots of love,
LMH

Desires?

Assalamualaikum!

After Several hours of fixing my template, I've settled for this! :D

Anyways, as i was browsing through igotitcovered.org one post caught my attention and mashallah! it was a beautiful piece! lets just say we humans are weak and it's a fact and at some point of our lives we give in to our desires and subahanallah this dunia is full of it, yes? for those who have not realized, let me give you an example. just a simple one: relationships. Allah created man to desire and vice versa but as we all know there is no such thing as "dating" in Islam and why is that? ok, 1st of all we are well aware that women/men are not allowed to be alone with a non-mahram. well that includes your boyfriend/girlfriend, agree? and again you might ask, why not? it's not like anything is going to happen. ahuh that's what shaytan wants you to think, shaytan is always with us. when it comes to disguising sins, shaytan does it best.

Being alone with your boyfriend/girlfriend is already a sin. what about holding hands, cuddling, kissing??...and all these things will lead to zina and some of you might say..."apani ni eh sitaie, inda jua kan sampai cematu, tau jua ku tu haraam kaliah" ok then BUT what about holding hands for those who are in a relationship? how about being alone in the car, sending her home after dinner? BEING ALONE WITH A NON-MAHRAM IS ALREADY CONSIDERED TO BE A SIN. This is the work of syahtan, he makes every sins seemed harmless. THIS is the kind of desires humans possessed (of course there are other desires, this is just one example) don't worry it's natural for us to have these feelings, our creator made us this way BUT desires can only be fulfilled when you're married :)

tell the believing men to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things) and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts, etc) that is purer for them, verily Allah is All-aware of what they do (an-Nur 24:30)

When you see a picture on facebook a couple holding hands or hugging, you might think "awww sweet jua boyfriendnya atu!" oh snap! another work of shaytan! soo be careful~ think of it this way.....what is so sweet about disobeying the almighty? :/

since I have very limited vocab and I don't seem to express myself very well. lol :p here are the wise words of "the aunties" from dearlittleaunties.blogspot.com :

  • shaytaan never tells someone to go and 'commit zina'. he knows nobody would do that. he starts small, instead. real small. like with a luagh, a certain smile...
  • or a chat. when we unnecessarily chat with a person from the other gender, we slowly erase the barrier between us and the person, including even the hijab barrier.
  • the reality is that most "relationships" don't begin as relationships from day 1. they start off as "friendship" grow into "it's complicated" and finally into "relationships" and sometimes x-relationships.
check out their blog, it's really inspiring :) so yezz, the wise words of the aunties~ convincing eyh?

and oh here's the article I was talking about!!!

but perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you and Allah knows, while you know not (2:216)

the messenger of Allaah (Sallah Allahoo Alyhee Wa Salam) said; " O Ali, do not follow a glance with another, for you will be forgiven for the first, but not for the second." (reported by al-tirmidhi 2701; see saheeh al-jaami',7953)

What do Austin Power and Riyaa have in common?

Assalamualaikum :)

I've been through this journey of blogging on and off. lol here I am back again after few years :D
Anyways, I was reading dearlittleaunties and they've suggested this great website myspiritualfix.com by Navaid Aziz an excellent scholar! do sign up, it helps :) plus the way he gave his lectures is always upbeat and fun. lol

Ok this might sound silly but how do you post a video from youtube here? :p I really wanna share the video but since I am such a newbie on blogger I suppose you can just search "what do austin power and riyaa have in common? by Navaid Aziz" on youtube. hehe SoOoO is there any sisters out there willing to teach me? :p I guess I could just google?lol
