ENTERTAINMENT

The syaitaan can make things look better than it is, sound better than it is, he makes this material world sound so heavenly..........

Ladies & Gents this is what we call entertainment.....yes Facebook, twitter, music, tv series, movies and etc.

I have several questions and I need you all to answer them honestly, no need to post your answer anywhere just think about it....

  • How many hours do you spend on Facebook/day?...compare your answer with how many hours have you spend reading the Al-Quran. Which one is greater?
  • What can you learn in Gossip Girl that can be useful in life? don't you think you can find these answers inside the Al-Quran already?
  • What is inside your Itunes? Music or lectures?which one should be inside your Itunes?
  • Did you skip your prayer because you were watching a movie or on a series marathon?
  • Did you memorize the Quran like you memorize all those useless, distasteful music lyrics?
  • When you're not at home or school/work...are you out and about or are you doing something pleasing to Allah?
All those junks out there are one of the many ways of Syaitaan to keep us 'entertained' until the Judgement Day comes, one of the many ways to keep us from getting closer our creator. So are you being entertained by Syaitaan?

GOT PATIENCE?

Assalamualaikum brothers & sisters!

Since I have some free time right now..might as well :p

I just want to write about one particular attribute that we all should have..and that is patience. Sabar (patience) is something hard to obtain..no really, it is or is it just me? :/

I've come to realised that teenagers are really hot blooded. lol! we get so aggravated soOoOo easily with our friends, with our parents, with our maids, with our co-workers...

Ok lemme tell you something we ALL can relate to :P

When you're out with your friends, having fun and all that and suddenly your mom called and asked you to come home and it was only 9pm.

OR

When your maid misplaced or rearrange your room and you couldn't find your stuff and when you asked she said 'I don't know' or she'll just stare back at you.

OR

When you're dealing with very fussy customers/clients with the mentality "Customer is always right!" and will not take NO for an answer!

OR

Trying to explain something to someone who is totally clueless!

Yes it can be annoying sometimes.

So I have a non-muslim colleague at work....and it amazes me how patient she can be! Mashallah it really did amazed me and the fact that she was still able to maintain her facial expression...as if she swallowed her anger AND the fact that she was still able to remain very cheerful without a single ounce of rudeness in her tone, she was so careful with her words! I was completely truly astounded by her patience and I've seen this in so many occasions. I didn't even realised that she was annoyed until she told me...this is what I meant by swallowing her anger, it doesn't show on her face at all.

There are times when I was the one who was hostile and she was not, there are times when I was impatient but she was not. Yes I'm quite ashamed of myself, I should to be more patient...we all should and Allah would reward us tremendously for our patience :') Allah is the most Just.

So be patient whatever befalls you! don't get annoyed with your parents, siblings, friends, colleagues, strangers....ANYONE! or even the situation you are in...whether someone is being rude or disrespectful to you or mocked you in return you treat them with kindness and forgive them :) forgive everyone that have wronged you and make good doas for them sincerely!

Why?

You might say, they don't deserve to be forgiven and in some situation yes maybe they don't but you don't forgive someone because they deserve it you pardon someone because you hope that Allah will forgive you like you forgave them! in other words you're forgiving them for the sake of Allah. How can we expect our lord to pardon our sins when we ourselves are not forgiving towards our brothers and sisters in faith?

So brothers and sisters, think long and hard :) have patience and be forgiving...this can be a blessing for you in the hereafter.

** I know I was suppose to talk about patience only but I coulnd't help but to squeeze in something extra :P

Allah Maha Pengasih!

Assalamualaikum Brothers & sisters!

I just have to share this with you...something truly beautiful, brilliant, amazing! it shows how truly great is our lord :') Mashallah!

Allah has written down the good deeds and the bad ones. Then He explained it [by saying that] he who has intended a good deed and has not done it, Allah writes it down with Himself as a full good deed, but if he has intended it and has done it, Allah writes it down with Himselfas from ten good deeds to seven hundred times, or many times over. But if he has intended a bad deed and has not done it, Allah writes it down with Himself as a full good deed, but if he has intended it and has done it, Allah writes it down as one bad deed

OH NOT SO BLISSFUL

We all know junk food is bad for us but we couldn't help but to consume it even after knowing it is bad for us. Junk Food is temporary bliss. All those veggies, less sugar less fat...less whatever taste so plain and boring though we know it is good for us, yet we don't consume as much as the double chocolate tims tams, ben and jerry's ice cream or the chicken Mcdeluxe...all those blissful junks. oh so blissful...

until the diseases comes rolling in....

Life is like that...it's temporary bliss. We know we're not suppose to this or do that but we couldn't help it, it is what the ugly heart wants, it is what the heart desires but it is not something we should respond to. Life is not about us, it's not about what we want to do or to date or to consume...it's about worshiping the creator of this universe, the creator of you and I. Turn to him for everything, for every little decision...consult him, trust him. He gave you life and a chance to live eternally in Jannah and this is how you repay him? as a disobedient?

Look around you...life is a test, so wake up

AH-NOYED

I am annoyed with myself. sigh sigh sigh.

10 things Allah won't ask

Beautifully written! taken from...

http://daughterzofeve.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=5

:)

Good Morning and Assalamualaikum!

Ten things Allah won't ask.

1...God won't ask what kind of car you drove;
He'll ask how many people you drove who didn't have transportation.

2...God won't ask the square footage of your house,
He'll ask how many people you welcomed into your home.

3...God won't ask about the clothes you had in your closet,
He'll ask how many you helped to clothe.

4...God won't ask what your highest salary was,
He'll ask if you compromised your character to obtain it.

5...God won't ask what your job title was,
He'll ask if you performed your job to the best of your ability.

6...God won't ask how many friends you had,
He'll ask how many people to whom you were a friend.

7...God won't ask in what neighborhood you lived,
He'll ask how you treated your neighbors.

8...God won't ask about the color of your skin,
He'll ask about the content of your character.

9...God won't ask what degree you have,
He'll ask to what degree you used your abilities to serve Him.

10...God won't ask why it took you so long to seek Salvation,
He'll lovingly take you to your mansion in heaven, and not to the gates of Hell, insha Allah!

- JEALOUSY IS AN UGLY EMOTION -

IT'S A TEST!

Assalamualaikum brothers & sisters!

Was listening to the Deen Show and I couldn't help but to remind all of you again how difficult life is. This life is full of tests...so lets pass it together! :)

There are so many things you can do to increase your good deeds!

Did you know just wearing your Hijab is an act of worship and you be rewarded for it?
Did you know taking your wud'hu is also an act of worship?
or visiting a sick relative at the hospital?
or even taking your shower or wearing your seatbelt in your car?
Did you know if your parents are happy with you, Allah will be too?

....There's so many things we can do! so brothers and sisters, time is precious, don't procrastinate! LETS DO THIS!

LETS GO ON A FACEBOOK DIET

I spend way too much time on Facebook, I could've done something more productive than 'internet shopping' :/

I want to go on a Facebook diet.........I completely gave up twitter for the same reason (and I'm glad that I did), should I?

............I think I know the answer to this question. LOL :P I shall be away from Facebook for 7 days and I will make my decision then ;)

LIFE IS A BATTLE FIELD

http://www.igotitcovered.org/2011/03/17/snake-of-temptation/

Just the motivation I needed! It is a constant battle....

You can’t breathe. You can’t see. You’re lost and scared and you feel so hopeless, so ashamed. You cry. You plead. Do you give up? Do you let the snake overcome and take control? Do you sigh and allow yourself to be suffocated, allow yourself to lose – just because the snake of temptation is flashing his bright colors, is hissing through your mind, gliding around your neck and taunting you? What do you do? You sigh. You breathe. You raise your hands despite the snake’s strong movements.

JUST A THOUGHT

Assalamualaikum and Good Morning everyone! :)

Yknow if you love someone or something, you'll talk about it, a mother loves telling stories about her children, her children is her pride.....

So if you love Islam so much you will spread the message, you'll share and tell everyone how beautiful it is :) don't you think? If you truly love Allah you will do what he told you to do, for the sake of pleasing him. ISLAM IS YOUR PRIDE.

hehe ok I'm off to work!

A post from the heart

Assalamualaikum everyone

I am grateful for what Allah have given me, I feel truly blessed and loved. Alhamadulillah. But there will be a time life can be difficult, your patience is running low, your desires & temptations to indulge in this world is great, there are times you're dragging yourself when you should be leaping to wake up for Fajr prayer.

.....yes it is a constant struggle, living in the 21st century is definitely hard, exhausting at times, everywhere you go, you commit sins with your eyes, seeing things that you shouldn't, the sisters making it hard for the brothers to lower their gaze. They couldn't help but to peak, stare, admire their beauty. Sisters couldn't help but to show their beauty, feeling the pressure to look good, in constant fear how they look and what people think of them. So-called romantic movies and songs, creating false hope and desires in you...there is a reason why they are called fairy tales because it does not exist in reality. Songs that doesn't have meanings singing about girls as if they're objects! songs like Bruno Mars -Marry you, as if it's easy to just get married and divorce the next day and making it sound so upbeat and fun. Making it sounds so harmless.

yes living in this century is tough especially for those you have lived and loved this material world. To just give it up, it is not easy my dearies. You will cry, you will feel frustrated, you will feel lonely, you will feel exhausted. you will be in an emotional turmoil but mashallah despite all that you will be happy :') a step worth taking, an emotional turmoil that it worth going thru. what is better than living eternally under his throne in Jannah? what is better than meeting the creator himself every Friday in Jannah? What is better than meeting our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and having a chat with him? What is better in this world than receiving the love of Allah? nothing is. This world that Allah have created for us to live in temporarily means nothing to him, it's like a dead carcass to him. If it means so little to our creator than why should we obsess over it?

If I were to ask you, what is your purpose in life? what is the purpose of Allah creating you? is it to just live and have fun and then just die? of course not! Think about it.

"If we do not get upset whenever we miss an act of virtue or prayer and if we do not feel shame after committing an act of disobedience to Allah, then that is a sign of the death of our (spiritual) heart" - Ibn Ata illah Iskandari, Al-Hikam ul Ata'iyah

IT AIN'T BLISSFUL AT-ALL

There's a difference between not knowing and not wanting to know.

You don't want make an effort to know about your deen because you are scared that you'll have to let go the things you love, so can you have the excuse of 'inda tau atu berdosa' and continue doing all these things without the guilty hovering over you or simply assume it's ok because people are doing it or nobody ever said anything about it.

My dearies, ignorance is never a bliss. Make an effort to know, do your research. Learn :)

10 THINGS

Assalamualaikum brothers and sisters!

I'm taking a break from studying :P

Anyways just a quickie update...list of facts I used to not know:

  1. Listening to music is haraam
  2. The aurat of female to female is between the navel and the knees
  3. Interest (Riba) is forbidden in Islam, it is considered to be major sin and haraam wealth. i.e home loan, car loan, credit cards etc.
  4. Believing in horoscope is syirik
  5. Celebrating birthday is bi'diah (innovation) - definitely not permissible
  6. Cleaning/protecting ourselves is an act of worship! (awesome right?!)
  7. If you make doa for your brothers and sisters in faith, an angel will make the same doa for you :')
  8. Ignorance is never a bliss in fact it's the opposite
  9. This world is full of temptations, desires & distractions!
  10. How perfectly "created" the human bodies are, the universe and everything in it! every little details of it is just flawless and beautiful made me realised how indeed great is our creator!

WHAT'S WRONG WITH NOW?

one day...I will pray and wear my hijab, I will be dutiful to my lord but first I would like to enjoy life....

you know what's wrong with this sentence?

What makes you think you'll live another day? In fact, what makes you think you'll live by morning when morning comes what makes you think you'll live by evening?

It's a scary thought isn't it? :/

The problem is beloved brothers and sisters is that we are giving this world more than what it deserves. Don't you agree that we should be spending more of our time 'building' for our next life? our eternal life?

We say judgement day not judgement days but do you know how long is a day in akhirat? just the morning itself is 50,000 years = 50 milleniums, 500 centuries , 5000 decades! Subahanallah!

Compare to the time we have in this world 110 years tops, see how little time we have? and you want to waste an eternal life for this little percentage? really?

So my beloved ones, it's time to wake up...the judgement is coming, so ask yourself what will you present to the creator of the heavens and the earth during this day?

sacrifices

Assalamualaikum brothers & sisters!

Tomorrow I will resume back to my hectic life :P

As usual my mind started to wonder...* initially this is not the topic I wanted to post* lol before you click the x button, hear me out :)

Lets talk about sacrifices.

What have you sacrificed in life for the sake of Allah? Think about it, ponder over it, sleep on it. no, seriously. think about it..what have you given up for the sake of Allah? does anything come to mind?

Lemme give you an idea.....

a music lover gave up music for the sake of Allah after knowing listening to music is haram
a girl traded her love for fashion for abaya and hijab
a muslimin or a muslimah gave up his/her sleep to pray tahajjud
a youth gave up his/her youth for the sake of Allah.

Lets look at the last point, being a youth is the best time of our lives, agree?

Have you ever thought of giving up your youth for the sake of Allah?

hanging out with our friends, having a 'good time', party, doing reckless things, being in love, being heart broken, daydream, flirting, experimenting life, being curious, being adventurous, being temperamental, being super dramatic = youth.

Whoever gives up the things that they love for the sake of Allah, trust him that he'll give you something better. Remember: Allah is the most just, he will never be unfair and he will never let good deeds unrewarded :)

We are all young once so don't waste it! do good in this world and be good in this world because you don't know when you're going to die, you don't know if you're going to live past 20. you don't know. even if you have to give up your desires as youths.

why waste your time going to cafes and talk about useless things, watching useless things? why not make use your youth to be better while you still healthy? why are we wasting our time cyber stalking people on Facebook? Why do things that does not benefit you?

If you think about it carefully, we are our own worst enemy. haha! we truly are! youths have soOoOo many desires and sometimes it can be overpowering and we cave in. no joke.

First of all, no one is expecting you to give up your youth at one go :P take baby steps. remember to pray, remember to put on your hijab, doing all the obligatory commandments. second, find better friends if you must - find friends that are supportive and conducive to your progress. Third, give up the things that you love....for the sake of Allah. (giving up bad things that you love)

There will be a time where your patiences is running thin. This literally feels like detoxing yourself! :P hahahaha this can be a constant struggle but just pray to Allah to make this easy for you and inshallah it will be :) surround yourself with good supportive people!

Jazakallahukhairan for reading. Hope you will benefit something from this :) Islam is beautiful, it truly is, don't you think?

change!

Assalamualaikum!

as you can see.....I've changed my template again :P for some reason the previous layout was bothering me.

MATERIALIST?

Assalamualaikum Brothers & Sisters!

I Hope everything is well.

As promised I'm going to update my blog today :P......I shall call this my journey blog :P :P

What's been on my mind is wealth, yes money is on my mind. why? because...my dearest brothers and sisters in faith oh! FYI please check out Bayyinah.com and click podcast and download their tafsir, they have really really good ones! and it's free :) you can listen to it when you're getting ready for school/work or before you go to sleep.

As I was saying! why is money on my mind...because we all need money, we all want money until the extend of consuming riba (interest) which haraam in Islam. so say no to interest! there are other means to increase your wealth! seeing all this celebs & singers earning this much and that much and soon it is firmly implemented in our heads money will make us happy and I can assure that it will not, it is the human nature to be greedy at times...ask yourself why do all this wealthy people buy all this expensive properties? why do they need a big piece of land, when they only need a place to shelter themselves? ok sure, they commute a lot but...why do they have to have mansions of 3-5 acres? Imagine those millions of dollars they could've spent feeding the poor.

Again, it is firmly implemented in our brains that this will make us happy, for those you have taken basic economics... you should know, human wants are unlimited. We will never be satisfied in life by those materialistic things such as fashion, properties, cars and etc. The only way that we could attain peace and satisfaction by worshiping Allah SWT. Those celebs & stars they seemed to have everything and they should be happy, right? but no, you see them turning into a druggie/drinker, in and out of rehabs, dying of overdose, divorce, shaving their heads or whatever. I mean think about it, if they were genuinely happy than what is the purpose of them turning to alcohol and drugs? if they were genuinely happy, they wouldn't need to get all high and drunk..losing touch with reality.

So yea don't so caught up in this world, I mean in not saying we all should be poor or anything :p HAHA just be grateful for what you have, don't compare yourself with someone who is wealthier than you...look at those people who are less fortunate than you, those people who don't have homes, striving to provide their families...that way you'll be grateful for what you have and appreciate the rezeki Allah have given you and say Alhamdulillah :)

BUT in another sense....you should look at someone better than you. In what situation does this apply?....when you want to change to be a better person :)

E.g. likeeee.....you see your friends doing drugs, you don't say "they're doing heroine, alhamdulillah I'm just doing pot" I mean hahaahhaahahhaah! doesn't that sentence just sound so wrong to you?

OR

You look at another sister wearing hot pants & sleeveless and say "Alhamdulillah, atleast I'm semi-naked, I'm just wearing skinny jeans & a tight shirt" when it was inside your head it doesn't sound so silly, does it? :P to see it in written form or saying out loud sounds so..........nonsensical.

so yea, imagine if you were standing next to a niqabi...wouldn't it be awkward? to be a better muslim you look at someone who is better than you, find better company if you must.

Brothers & sisters stop chasing this materialistic world and start chasing the akhirat.......

Two-Faced

SUPERGIRL

Good Morning & Assalamualaikum!

I've come to realised that I drink wayyy too much coffee! :S so I'm trying to find a healthier alternative :p I NEED ENERGY GIVING FOOD...& enough sleep. lol (btw I slept around 4am after drinking kopiko coffee at 6pm yesterday) Alhamdulillah it's Sunday, I need rest.

Working from 8am to 5pm from Monday to Friday and Saturday from 8am to 12pm and overtime until 7pm does take A LOT of your time.. & energy :S and drinking coffee all the time just doesn't cut it. Also I have to make time for studying. Yes, I still study...I have tuition classes on Monday and Wednesday night for 2 hours and I have to study another subject by myself without any tutoring (cause I couldn't find a good one haha!) at least an hour 3 days a week. So you see how packed my day is....and I'm already behind on my Quran reading, I'm down from 4 pages everyday to 1page to none, which is truly sad. heh Also I'm trying to squeeze in Tajweed classes at least 15 minutes a day, obviously I haven't perfected my Tajweed yet! (I'm 4 classes behind!)

Call me crazy but I want to squeeze in 2 more things inside my schedule.....Night prayers & Pilates (LOL welcome back! :P) - I left this like 3 months ago which another thing I used to do frequently.

Ok so here's the break down:

Quran reading, daily prayers, night payers = Commandment from the Al-mighty Lord + for the goodness of the heart and soul :P

Pilates, eating right = For my physical being (basically I have to be supergirl to fit everything inside my schedule LOL) - I NEED ENERGY

Another reason why I need an electronic organizer! So Brothers & Sisters in faith make doas for me...Inshallah, I CAN DO THIS!

I would just like share this with all of you :P I'm sure some of you need energy giving food too. hehehe!

Btw if you have any suggestions/thoughts on how to manage all this, please come and share at my Formspring. Jazakallahukhairan, I would highly appreciate it :)

and kopiko continues....

Assalamualaikum Brothers & sisters

it's 3.30am and yes I'm still awake..LOL

Wish I could paste the PDF format here :/ I hope you guys find this video helpful :) My eyes are feeling alittle heavy now...aaahhh finally!

kopiko at 2am

It's 2am and I'm still awake...

http://www.igotitcovered.org/2011/02/23/carpe-noctem/

What I am currently reading...yes pondering over a different topic now.

So, where are we in those crucial hours before dawn? It’s a question that should be plaguing us all because our ever-Merciful Lord descends during this time. As in the hadith of Abu Hurairah who narrated, that the Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: ‘Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him? Who is asking something of Me so I may give it to him? Who is asking for My forgiveness so I may forgive him?”[Bukhari]

We all need change

Sometimes I wonder (I wonder too much. lol) FYI it's 1am :p

We acquire all this knowledge about our faith but how many percent are we implementing them?

It's like knowing what the recipe is but not following them at all. lol you get what I'm saying?

Sometimes I find myself doing this, I know what I'm suppose to do but I'm not doing it. heh this is............Horrible. I think I need to cut loose some of the ol' bad habits. Brothers and sisters in faith please pray for me. I need major alteration!!

key to paradise

" salah does not revolve around lives, our lives revolve around salah"

Another reminder for us, the first question our creator is going to ask us at Judgement Day, our Salah. So are you doing what our creator is asking you to do? Are you not scared of His wrath and Hellfire?

Syaitaan keeps us entertained with all the money, cars, fashion & music in this world until we die as a disobedient. We are sinners, we sinned everyday..so remember to cleanse your heart everyday, ask for forgiveness everyday as Allah is the most merciful & the most forgiving. Our Prophet Muhammad Sallahu 'alayhi wa salaam (peace be upon him) asks for forgiveness 100 times a day so how many times do you think we should ask for forgiveness?

If someone were to shower 5 times a day, imagine how clean the person is. Imagine how clean is our soul if we pray 5 times a day :') Likewise, for those who does not, Imagine how dirty & dark their soul is. Subahanallah.

So Brothers & sisters, never forget your prayers. don't be so caught up in this world, we are all travellers, there is another life waiting for us....eternal life. This life is just temporary.

No one but you

Assalamualikum brothers & sisters

I'm actually saving this post for another day but since I'm free...might as well share my thoughts with all of you :) Honestly, I'm exhausted but I just have to share this!

I have this habit of listening to Yusuf Estes while getting ready for work........

What I've learned is that all that is required is our effort and the results is not up to us, it's in the hands of Allah Azza Wajjal.

All we have to do is work for it...Mashallah how easy is that? :')

Just a simple example: Studying

We study for our tests and exams, to achieve the best results.

All we need to do is study and make sure we did our very best and inshallah, Allah will reward us for the great effort we have put into studying. Some of us (including myself) think - study hard = good results but no...That is not the case at all. There are times we studied so hard but the results are disappointing and you questioned yourself, what did you do wrong?

  1. Thinking we have the power to control
  2. Not doing your best ( studying last minute does not count as doing your best )
  3. ........it's a blessing in disguise :')

Remember the time you studied wayyy in advanced but the result is not what you expected? Though I did mentioned great efforts will be rewarded just few paragraphs ago? lol REMEMBER the time, after being so disappointed with your results despite all efforts...you never gave up and decided to try harder? And FINALLY it paid off? (If you have given up, clearly you're not trying your best, you're just lazy. lol!) And REMEMBER how satisfying it was? Also REMEMBER the time you were over confident with yourself but ended up dissatisfied?

Bear in mind, Allah knows us best....because he is the one who created every single individuals, he knows us better than we know ourselves. So don't you think the all- knowing knows what he's doing? clearly if he is not giving us what we wanted is not because we do not deserve it...it's because he knows we can do better, we just need a little push :)

Just like a baby learning to walk, they kept falling and tripping but they never stop trying..The baby doesn't give up and decides to crawl for the rest of their lives, right? :P they learn until they could walk and don't you think this applies to us adults too?

So be happy with what Allah have given you..whatever it is - results, wealth, health...everything! be happy and be grateful for what you have say Alhamdulillah (Thanks to be Allah) and don't blame anyone but yourself..don't blame the teacher because she can't teach when there are other teachers who could've taught you or you're just lazy to set a foot at the library. don't blame your friends because you started smoking when obviously you could've said no, don't blame stress/frustration/misery/drama for causing you such a miserable life when you could've prayed to Allah to make it easier for you. Don't blame anyone but yourself because you have brought this upon yourself, your decisions and your efforts- no one but you.

Evil Eye

Assalamualaikum Brothers & sisters! Hi!

yes I've been MIA for awhile :/ anyhoot just a quick update! another E-mail from Spiritual Fix by Navaid Aziz :)

As salam 'alaikum wa rahamatullah,

Is the "Evil Eye" even real? And the answer is YES!

If you recall in the story of Yusuf when the brothers are returning to Egypt after having seen their father the father advises them to enter through different doors and entrances so that they don't get the evil eye, as they were young, strong, and attractive men. Ibn Kathir, one of the famous scholars tafsir, comments on this verse by saying: "Indeed the evil eye is a reality and can make a knight fall off of its horse".

So how do we go about protecting ourselves from the evil eye?

1- Get people into the habit of saying: "Maa shallah". So next time you accomplish something great start your sentence off by saying Maa shallah, and more than likely who ever you're telling will start their sentence the same way.

2- Say your daily adhkhar in the morning and evening (You can look this up in the online version of Hisn Al-Muslim [Fortification of the believer].

3- Before going to bed read last three surahs (the three Quls for us Desis out there) and blow into your hands and rub it over your body. The Prophet (SAW) would do this each night before going to bed. It might be a good time to go freshen your understanding of these surahs, why don't you go read the translation tonight.
