Bittersweet, I shall say......
30?
How to greet the islamic way?
The complete form for the Islamic greeting is Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh meaning peace, mercy, and blessings be upon from Allah (S.W.T.).
This is because Imams Abu-Dawood and At-Tirmithi reported in a good hadith that a man came to the prophet (S.A.W.) and said,
“Assalamu alaikum “ The prophet responded and the man sat down. The prophet said, “Ten rewards.”
Another man came and said, “Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah.” The prophet responded and the man sat down. The prophet said, “twenty rewards.”
Then another man came and said: Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh The prophet responded and the man sat down. The prophet said, “thirty rewards
Starting now I shall greet you all with Assamaualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh :p
1000 deeds anyone?

Patience is the key
Panic and impatience cannot prevent Allah’s Decree. Shakwah (complaining) is contradictory to Sabr (patience). Allah alone can protect you from harm and ease your difficulties. Sabr is obligatory!"

Those who desire paradise
A poem
Even If I Lose
Zehra Agha
When hours are short and days are long,
When little goes right and much goes wrong,
To my close ones failing to impart joy,
My mind is a sponge, my time is a toy.
Trapped in this maze and clockwork,
Shadows of my heart hauntingly lurk.
To my Forbearing Lord I do not abide,
Eating me up, shaytan smirks inside.
Tipping over, struggling not to fall,
To my beloved Protector I desperately call!
Despite the deafening silence and hollow,
After my infantile duas, Your Mercy does follow.
Saving me from my own self is not an easy job,
Effortlessly You help me cut through the crowd and mob.
With Your Help by my side my fears fade away,
In awe of Your majesty, I bow my head and pray.
Who needs any other when I have You?
The One and Only; Strong, Powerful and True.
After straying away, once again I touch base,
Seeking forgiveness; surrendering to Your Face.
Past forgiven, I make a promise new,
Even if I lose, I lose only to You

Hijab is not a trend, it's a commandment
- Excess for sisters to be modest yet fashionable provided that they completely cover themselves of course!
- Make it easy for us to shop, providing lots and lots of variety of possible modest clothings!
Hijab is not a trend....

Good Morning World!

"I don't wear my religion on my sleeve"
- Yes the inside counts...so does the outside - lets say you're studying overseas at a non-muslim country, if a normal person is going to compare you with the non-muslim, will the person be able to differentiate you without your hijab? no and wouldn't be awkward if a non-muslim were to ask you "If you're a muslim then where's your hijab?" personally there is nothing wrong wearing your religion on your sleeve :) be proud that you're a muslim.
- We all know it is an obligatory to wear hijab, so wear it.
- Some say smoking is not haraam, actually it is. First, this body does not belong to us, one day we will have to return everything to our creator including our body and we all know smoking is a revolting habit, all it does is harm you and we all know the effects of smoking - lung cancer. If you borrowed someone's stuff, you take extra care of it, right? and you want to make sure when you return it, it's still in a good condition. Again, this body does not belong to us, it is ours temporarily, don't you need to take care of it? and why do you think tattoo is haraam in Islam?
